Year 3 visit Danelaw Viking Village

"Come here slave!" "Fetch that slave!" Phrases all too often heard by Mr Olesqui, Mr Bolton, & Mrs Rivett-Jones who spent the day as slaves to the Year 3 Viking Settlers during their recent trip to Danelaw Viking Village.

Here the children experienced life as a Viking living in Britain 1200 years ago.

Activities included guard duty, weaving, collecting fire wood, and making as much noise as possible during an authentic Viking feast! A thoroughly enjoyable trip, if a little cold!
